Insurant’s actions upon the insured event occurrence

• In case of the accident in some inhabited locality, the Insurant shall inform the Insurer or the Insurer’s authorized representative the latest in 12 hours and in case of the accident outside any inhabited locality –within 24 hours by phone 0 800 500 195 and provide the following information:
  
  
  • Insurance contract number, Insurant’s name, name of the insured motor vehicle’s driver and the contact phone (if available);
  • Conditions of the insured event occurrence;
  • Information on damages to the insured motor vehicle;
  • Place of the insured event occurrence and location of the insured motor vehicle;
• inform immediately and call necessary services to arrive at the event occurrence location if there is:
  
  
  • a risk of Road Traffic Accident except for paint coating scratches, glass components scratches or cracks with no damage to other details of the insured motor vehicle, and if there is a guilty person available - law-enforcement agency;
  • a Fire risk – Department of Fire Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (fire-fighting service) or similar authorities in other countries;
  • a risk of Unlawful Misappropriation - law-enforcement agency;
• and also inform in case of :
  
  
  • a risk of Acts of Nature, including falling of trees and other objects, animals attack - the Insurer’s representative only;
  • a risk of Road Traffic Accident that caused paint coating scratches, glass components scratches or cracks with no damage to other details of the insured motor vehicle, and if there is a guilty person unavailable - the Insurer’s representative only;
• take measure to save the insured motor vehicle, the Third and other Insured Persons’ lives and health to prevent from further injuries or damages resulting from the accident;
• for providing the Insurer with the right to advance demands towards the person responsible for the caused damage, write down information of other accident participants, if they are available, in particular:
  
  
  • driver details (name, mailing address and contact phone) of other motor vehicles;
  • other motor vehicles’ data (model, registration number, owner);
• notify the Insurer in writing of the event occurrence within three workdays after the event. If the event occurred outside Ukraine, the Insurant has to notify the Insurer in writing of the event occurrence within three workdays after he/she gets back to Ukraine.
