Voluntary Liability Insurance

Third party liability insurance

Third party liability insurance provides coverage for damage to life, health and/or property of the third parties owned, kept or controlled by the insurant.

Individuals and legal entities can be insurants.

The insurance rate is determined for each specific customer and depends on the coverage limit.

Legal entity insurant and/or individual insurant can arrange insurance of the liability for damage to life, health and/or property of the third parties, including environment and other property interests of the third parties as a result of economic activity, in particular:

  • common civil liability is the liability for damage to the third parties as a result of operation of movable and immovable property lawfully used in the insured activity of the insurant, including high-risk sites as well as semi -automated vehicles (loading trucks, etc.) that ride along inside tracks of the enterprise at the highest speed of 6.0 km per hour, self-propelled machines and non-self-propelled technological process automation machines that are subject to common registration as motor vehicles and can move with the highest speed of 20.0 km/hour.
  • contractual liability is the liability for damage to the third parties as a result of non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of obligations by the insurant under legal relations established with the third parties (contracts, agreements, etc.), except for losses of the third parties caused by insurant’s use of motor vehicle for transportation of passengers, cargo and luggage, which is the carrier’s liability.
  • employer’s liability is the liability for damage to the third parties being in labor relations with the insurant.
  • liability of goods and services producer (seller) is the liability of the insurant as a seller, producer of goods (services) as well as inadequate and incomplete information about them, apart from the damage to the third parties as a result of insurant’s use of motor vehicle for transportation of passengers, cargo and luggage, which is the carrier’s liability.
  • professional liability is the liability of the insurant as a professional, who produces goods, delivers works (services), for damage to the third parties as a result of design, technological, compounds and other defects of goods, works (services) as well as inadequate and incomplete information about them. The professional is the individual of respective specialization possessing expertise for taking insured professional activity diligently and scrupulously in compliance with all legal and regulatory (as well as sectoral) requirements. This individual should have the right for such a professional activity according to the current law or regulatory acts, including sectoral procedures.

Voluntary insurance against road traffic accidents

Voluntary insurance against road traffic accidents proposes coverage to drivers and/or passengers arranged by individuals, legal and business entities that possess a motor vehicle, bought it on credit, leased, rent and legally operate it.

The driver and passengers are insured against the next risks:

  • insured person’s injury or assessment of disability caused by the road traffic accident;
  • death of the insured person in the road traffic accident.

Insurance programs:

  • lump sum insurance system – the insurance amount is determined based upon total number of passengers and the driver in the insured motor vehicle with the defined limit of compensation to each affected person;

insurance by place system – the insurance amount is determined based upon each passenger place and/or a driver.
