A press conference was held yesterday in Vynnytsia, wherein Chairman of the Board of TAS Insurance Group Dmytro Grytsuta and Director of Vynnytsia Regional Management Board TAS IG Mykola Tkachuk were replying questions of Vynnytsia and national media representatives.

“In spite of the financial crisis, the TAS Insurance Group results of its 11-month activities exceed its performance values of the same period last year”, said Dmytro Grytsuta on the press conference. According to preliminary results, insurance premiums of TAS IG made up ca. 352 mn hryvnias in January-November 2008, which is 56% more than the same period of 2007. (For comparison: 257.2 mn hryvnias in total was collected in 2007). Insurance indemnities of TAS IG grew more significantly. For 11 months of 2008, they grew up by 61% as compared with the same period last year and amounted to 127 mn hryvnias. 89.7 million hryvnias were indemnified in 2007.

As specified by Dmytro Grytsuta, the year of 2008 has been noted for consistently high insurance indemnities. In particular, indemnity values for 11 months 2008 are considerably higher than those of the same period 2007. A share of indemnities against premiums collected equals 36% in January-November this year.
