TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG) paid for losses to its clients 7,528,000 hryvnias on 15-19 June 2009.

Chairman of the Board of TAS Insurance Group Dmytro Grytsuta said: «Largest amounts of indemnities last week (UAH105.6 thou — 550.9 thou) related to motor casko insurance. The loss payments were received by our clients at South, Kharkiv and Kyiv Regional Branches, Sumy Branch and the Central Office. Another large amount of indemnity was paid under a personal accident insurance policy last week. TAS IG paid almost 354,000 hryvnias to a Kharkiv bank to indemnify debts of its client who had died in a car accident».

The largest loss payments by TAS IG within the specified period include the amount of 257 thousand hryvnias paid to a Kharkiv bank for redeeming a customer’s loan, the Lexus of which had been completely destroyed in a car accident.

The two biggest loss amounts were paid by TAS IG under motor casko insurance contracts last week. UAH550.9 thousand were paid to an insured (for a car theft) by the Kyiv Regional Branch, and 300 thousand hryvnias were transferred to an insured of the Sumy Branch, the car of which had been damaged in a road accident. «We’ve held negotiations with several partner banks and agreed on getting our money returned. Now, we can allocate these funds for a further development of our company”, commented Chairman of the Board of TAS Insurance Group Dmytro Grytsuta.»
