1 July 2009. Kyiv. TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG) paid for losses to its clients 2,258,000 hryvnias last week (22-26 Jun).

The largest amount of loss payment (103.3 thou hryvnias) was paid to a client of the TAS Sumy Branch under the motor casko insurance program. The client's Mercedes had been damaged in a road accident. Most other large amounts of loss payments (50-100 thousand hryvnias) within the specified period were also transferred under the motor casko insurance. Besides, almost 68,000 hryvnias were paid to a farm enterprise last week which had concluded an agriculatural risk insurance contract at the Kirovohrad Branch of the TAS IG.

"Thus, the farm has received insurance indemnity for costs on sowing and growing of the winter rape damaged as a result of April frosts", said Head of the Agricultural Risk Insurance Department Yuri Zolotar.
