TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG) paid for losses to its clients UAH9.6 mn last week (13-17 July 2009)

The largest amount of indemnities (almost 215,000 hryvnias) were paid out under motor casko insurance contract concluded at the Donetsk Branch of TAS IG for a BMW car destroyed in a road accident. The payment was received by the car owner.

Another large amount of the indemnity was also paid out under a motor casko insurance policy concluded at the Crimean Branch of TAS IG. In particular, almost 139 thousand hryvnias were paid for a Honda Accord car destroyed in a road accident. The indemnity was obtained by a bank towards repaying a loan disbursed for purchasing of the destroyed car.

In total, TAS IG effected 7 big payments last week (UAH87,000 to 215,000). All of them were made under motor casko policies issued by Kyiv, Donetsk, Volyn and Crimean Regional Branches, Volyn Branch and the TAS IG Central Office.
