TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG) paid for losses to its clients 72.205.800 hryvnias in January-July 2009. TAS IG paid almost UAH12 mn in July 2009, up 4% from the same period last year.

Insurance premiums received by TAS IG make up almost 144 mn hryvnias for 7 months 2009.

“We commenced to raise more insurance premiums since the beginning of this summer. In particular, we obtained 30% more funds in June than in May, and we managed to improve this rate in July. Our insurance payments keep on growing as well. We traditionally make most payments under motor insurance contracts. A portion of insurance indemnities under motor casco policies against total payments was 66% in Jan-Jul 2009”, says Chairman of Management Board TAS IG Dmytro Grytsuta.
