TAS Insurance Group paid for losses 133 thousand hryvnias under agricultural risk insurance contract concluded by Kyiv Regional Branch of TAS OG. The indemnity was paid for spring wheat, spring barley and rape crops damaged as a result of draught. An agricultural company operating in Kyiv was an insured and beneficiary under the policy.

“The company insured its crops in TAS IG last autumn and received an indemnity after winter rape had been killed by frost. This spring the Insured concluded an insurance contract again and received several indemnities for crops damaged by draught”, says the Head of Department for Agricultural Risks Insurance Yuri Zolotar.
