TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG) obtained premiums in the amount of almost UAH 164.1 million whereas indemnity payments were UAH 85.9 million for 8 months this year. TAS IG paid for losses to its clients UAH13.6 mn in August, up 12% from July. Indemnities paid in summer 2009 equaled almost 36 million hryvnias.

Chairman of the Management Board of TAS IG Dmytro Grytsuta says: “Our company paid 16 mn hryvnias under motor third-party liability insurance contracts in January-August 2009, which is 19% of the total amount of payments. In particular, we took 234 positive decisions to pay out an insurance benefit under third-party liability contracts and 852 decisions under motor kasko contracts. A total quantity of payments was 2532; (8392 in three summer months). We are working at speeding up the procedure of insurance case settlement. Implementation of a new project on insurance events management launched in August will enable to reach the specified objective.”
