TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG) paid for losses to its clients UAH 2,139,000 last week (21-25 Sept).

The largest amount of insurance indemnity – UAH 68,000 – was paid under motor casco insurance contract concluded at Sumy Branch of TAS IG. The indemnity for a Volkswagen Jetta damaged in a road accident was acquired by the bank that had granted a loan for purchasing the car.

Other large amounts of insurance indemnities – UAH 30,000 to 70,000 – were also made under motor casco contracts concluded at Kharkiv, Crimea and Vynnytsia Regional branches, and Head Office of TAS IG. In particular, almost 32,000 hryvnias was paid out for a stolen Skoda Octavia insured at Ternopil Branch of TAS IG. The amount of indemnity was 30% of the total sum insured. According to applicable contract provisions, the second part of indemnity will be made if a criminal case upon car theft is closed.
