Last week, November 16-10, 2009, “TAS” Insurance Group PJSC (hereinafter – “TAS” IG JSC (private)) paid for losses to its clients UAH 1 million 174 thousand.

The highest loss amount of this period were paid under two agricultural risk insurance contracts drawn at Vinnitsa Regional Office of “TAS” IG JSC (private). In particular, agrarians got their indemnity for winter wheat harvest shortfall due to the spring-summer drought. The amount of indemnity was about UAH 30 thousand under each contract. ‘We have been cooperating with these farms for years, and each of them has already got their indemnity,’ the Head of Agricultural Risk Insurance Department of “TAS” IG JSC (private) Yuriy Zolotar said. ‘For these clients we developed special insurance conditions complying with their needs, and we hope that our cooperation will continue in the future.’

Other big loss payments by “TAS” IG JSC (private) in this period were made under CASCO insurance contracts concluded at the Head Office, Kirovograd and Lugansk branches.
