For three years PRIVATE JOINT-STOCK COMPANY TAS INSURANCE GROUP (TAS IG (private)) has been maintaining contractual relations on obligatory reinsurance of agricultural risks (an agreement covers winter and spring crops, including harvest of agricultural crops) with the Swiss Reinsurance Company (Swiss Re). The agreement is valid from 1 Nov 2009 till 1 Nov 2010.

Head of the Treaty Reinsurance Department Svitlana Shkarban says: “We keep on cooperation with that company that is one of world’s top reinsurance companies. It is worth noting that this year, as never before, when signing agricultural risk insurance contracts, our clients used to ask if our company reinsures risks and who we cooperated with in reinsurance and what were the types of reinsurance contracts and limits of liability. Now there are more clients who understand importance and significance of reinsurance under the conditions of the global financial downturn, and those entities that select a stable insurance company. Now, insureds look towards being sure that the insurance company is able to make due loss payments. The existing reinsurance agreement provides our clients with a guarantee that our company will perform its obligations. The Swiss Reinsurance Company keeps on cooperation with TAS IG (private) as it regards our company as a reliable partner.
