Representatives of the world’s largest assistance and insurance company Mondial Assistance Group visited the Headquarters of Private Joint Stock Company TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG OJSC (private). Oleksandr Chepurin, General Director, and Galyna Dolgaya, Commercial Director of Mondial Assistance LLC (companies represented by Mondial Assistance Group in Russia and CIS countries) met the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of TAS IG OJSC (private) Artur Shaimukhametov, Head of Medical and Personal Insurance Department Kateryna Dzhevaga, and Head of Traveler Insurance Department Viktoriya Raspopova.

“During this meeting we discussed the joint work performance in 2009, operational issues related to organizations of medical aid to persons insured in TAS IG OJSC (private), the process of interaction improvement between our companies, as well as joint plans for 2010”,- Oleksandr Chepurin noted, “Mondial Assistance Group is developing and already has 33 branches globally. Mondial Assistance LLC (Moscow) services representatives of Russian-speaking countries traveling abroad. Our company services persons insured in TAS IG OJSC (private) in all countries of the world, excepting Turkey and Egypt. In general, we have a positive assessment of cooperation with TAS IG OJSC (priv.) and are going to develop it next year».

“In 2009, most customers of our Company traveling abroad for recreation or by invitation, for studies or business trip could enjoy services of Mondial Assistance LLC. As of 1 December 2009, the total number of such insurance agreements in TAS IG OJSC (priv.ate) was about 130 thousand”, said Artur Shaimukhametov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of TAS IG OJSC (private.), after the meeting. “Our interaction is arranged as follows: Mondial Assistance LLC provides organization of the necessary medical aid for our insured persons having departed abroad, and TAS IG OJSC (private.) pays for medical aid organization services. Our Company’s expenses for the mentioned said cooperation period amounted to over EUR 70,000. Thereat, EUR 50,000 was paid under one insurance event, which occurred in the USA (i. е. the insured amount was paid in full). It should be noted that no claims were filed by insured persons related to organization of medical aid abroad by Mondial Assistance LLC within the year. Mondial Assistance LLC’s activity also stipulates thorough analysis of each insurance event in order to evade fraud which has been quite frequent lately. At large, we are contented with cooperation with this company in 2009 and assess positively the quality of its services and economic performance of our joint activity. In 2010, we plan to improve the interaction procedure between our companies by implementing an IT-program allowing online tracking of each insurance event. Such programs are already used by other companies globally, and have proved their efficiency”.
