Private joint-stock company TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG (private)) paid for losses to its clients UAH 2.8 million on 18-22 January 2010.

The largest loss amounts paid to our clients within the specified period were under motor casko insurance contracts concluded at Kyiv, Cherkasy and Volyn regional branches, and Uzhhorod branch, as well as under a fire and related risks property insurance contract for legal entities concluded at the Crimean regional branch of TAS IG (private).

In particular, the company transferred almost UAH 150 thousand to repay a loan granted for buying a Toyota Prado that has been stolen (30% of the total cost of the car was already paid under that contract). This specific contract was concluded at Cherkasy regional branch.

Besides, TAS IG paid almost UAH 172,000 for a Volkswagen Touareg damaged in a road accident. That car was bought on credit and insured at Volyn regional branch.

Other considerable loss payments within the specified period were UAH 54,000 to UAH 117,000 for cars damaged in road accidents.
