Due to the fact that from 1 February 2010 the Embassy of the Czech Republic will admit insurance policies of travelers abroad from Ukrainian insurance companies only in the printed form, Private Joint Stock Company TAS Insurance Group (hereinafter - IG “TAS” PJSC has developed and introduced a police for travelers to Czechia on СНЕСН E series form.

“According to the new rules, from 1 February 2010 the Embassy of Czechia will admit policies with a validity term up to 90 days, executed in the electronic form, accompanied with a document confirming payment for this policy”, says Victoria Raspopova, Head of the Travelers Abroad Insurance Division of the Medical and Personal Insurance Department of IG “TAS” PJSC. “In compliance with the requirement of the Embassy of Czechia, for convenience of our clients we have developed a new type of insurance policy for travelers abroad. It is executed in two languages: Ukrainian and Czech, has a version of format corresponding to the form size of the valid MONA Е policies (electronic version of the policy compulsory for Switzerland and Poland, and recommended for other Schengen countries)».

This policy is executed in the electronic form in ProfITsoft Front-office system integrated at IG “TAS” PJSC. Its value may be calculated using a special electronic calculator. In the course of the policy execution, personal data of customers and their insurance terms are entered online into the system, which allows seeing and processing them immediately, particularly, operatively confirming the policy validity and rendering the necessary assistance to the insured. This also enables accounting of insurance agents’ operations and generating a single base of customers.

“Our Company commenced issuing insurance policies for travelers abroad in the electronic form a year ago, when such requirement was introduced by the Embassy of Switzerland”, notes Artur Shaimukhametov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of IG “TAS” PJSC, “Today, besides the Embassies of Switzerland and the Czech Republic, such requirement is introduced by the Embassy of Poland. All full-time sellers and a great number of agents have the necessary equipment and work in ProfITsoft Front-office; a large number of insurance policies for travelers abroad is executed in the electronic form. Additional advantages of this system are that it allows generating special rates for a certain region or customer, and enables making insurance agreements both for individuals and legal entities”.
