Private joint-stock company TAS Insurance Group (TAS IG (private)) paid for losses to its clients UAH 1,934,000 on 8-12 February 2010.

The largest loss amounts were paid under motor casco insurance contracts and voluntary medical insurance policies concluded at Kyiv, Western, Vynnytsia and Zhytomyr regional branches, Luhansk and Chernivtsi branches and the Head office of TAS IG (private).

The largest loss amount paid last week was almost 150,000 hryvnias for a car Schmitz K 018 damaged in a road accident. The related insurance contract was signed at Head Office of TAS IG (private).

UAH 140,000 was paid under an incoming reinsurance contract concluded at Head Office of the company, for a Volvo damaged in a road accident.

Other significant loss payments within the specified period were UAH 50,000 to UAH 85,000 for cars Mitsubishi, Volvo FM, Infiniti FX35, Volkswagen Touareg, Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Corolla and others, damaged in accidents.

Besides, TAS IG (private) paid around UAH 60,000 to a Kyiv hospital for the treatment of insureds, representatives of a corporate customer, under a voluntary insurance contract. The contract was concluded at Kyiv regional branch of TAS IG (private).
